These are your tasks:

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing and criminal offences
  • Independently develop and update internal policies and procedures, in particular in the form of work instructions and appropriate business, customer and employee-related security systems
  • Further development of the institution-specific risk analysis
  • Processing of suspicious cases, including the decision to submit external suspicious activity reports to the authorities and reassessment of the business relationship in this respect 
  • Implementation of research measures, including necessary forensic analyses
  • Implementation and execution of risk-based monitoring and control activities
  • Advising and supporting the departments with regard to compliance with key legal regulations and requirements
  • Participation, advice and support in the implementation of new products, development of new markets and projects, particularly in the case of changes to key processes within the meaning of AT 8 MaRisk  
  • Monitoring the implementation of processes to fulfil FATCA and CRS obligations

  • (Specialised) university degree in law or economics or completed training with proven professional experience in finance, forwarding, customs, export control

  • Creation of statistics and analyses

Your new tasks in payment transactions with us: 

  • Processing of payment orders from correspondent banks and account customers (checking, authorisation, blocking if necessary)
  • Entry and release of payment transactions in the Deutsche Bundesbank system 
  • Requesting, monitoring and booking fees for payments 
  • Processing of complaints
  • Internal / external contact for payment transaction issues
  • Archiving of documents (payment transaction files)

 

Your new tasks in our treasury back office: 

  • Review and approval of money market and foreign exchange transactions, including checking for market conformity, compliance with trading limits, including reconciliation in the event of overruns
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, triggering interest payments when trading transactions fall due
  • Checking and approving brokerage requests from brokers, including arranging payment
  • Setting up and cancelling payment methods
  • Verification and transaction confirmation of counterparties and dispatch of own confirmations
  • Recording, control, release of transfers between nostro accounts
  • Disposition of nostro accounts
  • Recording and releasing mid and reference rates for the bank
  • Processing of complaints and creation of deposit confirmations
  • Monitoring of reporting obligations in foreign trade and forwarding to the reporting system

 

You bring the following skills to us: 

  • Completed training as a bank clerk (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in payment transactions and treasury back office in the banking or financial environment
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Analytical and results-orientated thinking
  • High level of commitment and team spirit
  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
