  • Daily checking and monitoring of reporting-relevant key figures and facts
  • Preparation, review, submission and monitoring of regulatory reports
  • Dealing with new regulatory reporting requirements

These are your tasks:

  • Advising customers and employees in foreign documentary business with a focus on planning, coordination and implementation of project deliveries with regard to letters of credit to be opened.
  • Advising clients on the opening of letter of credit transfers under UCP 600, in accordance with and in derogation of Article 38 UCP
  • Monitoring export controls within the framework of the sanctions guidelines
  • Development of strategic services and their implementation
  • Coordination and optimisation of work processes within the department and across departments within the company. 
  • Verification and approval of payments and settlements, entries in connection with import and export letters of credit, remittances and L/C transfers and back-to-back letters of credit
  • Creation and processing of L/C transfers and back-to-back letters of credit
  • Document verification and processing of export/import/transfer/and back-to-back letters of credit
  • Amendment and payment of import and back-to-back letters of credit
  • Settlement of confirmations and forfaiting
  • Selection and negotiation with service providers for the processing of letters of credit and transfers
  • Negotiating and purchasing external services, e.g. courier services, archiving and software services
  • Assumption of the role of risk officer

  • Processing of payment orders from correspondent banks and account customers (checking, authorisation, blocking if necessary)
  • Entry and release of payment transactions in the Deutsche Bundesbank system

These are your tasks in the Treasury back office:

  • Review and approval of money market and foreign exchange transactions, including checking for market conformity, compliance with trading limits, including reconciliation in the event of overruns
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, triggering interest payments when trading transactions fall due
  • Checking and approving brokerage requests from brokers, including arranging payment
  • Setting up and cancelling payment methods
  • Verification and transaction confirmation of counterparties and dispatch of own confirmations
  • Recording, control, release of transfers between nostro accounts
  • Disposition of nostro accounts

  • Secondary analysis of the financial situation and existing collateral
  • Secondary review of loan applications on the basis of the initial and secondary analyses of the financial circumstances, existing collateral and the rating carried out, ESG analysis
  • Preparation of voting on credit resolution proposals
  • Preparation of contract documentation
  • Credit validation
  • Credit file management
  • Credit master data maintenance
  • Ongoing monitoring of credit exposures including collateral
  • Processing of attachment and transfer orders
  • Supervision of loans in intensive support/problem loans and loan customers in forbearance measures

  • Completed training as a bank clerk (m/f/d) or comparable training and / or studies
  • Further qualifications with a banking / credit-related background are welcome
  • Several years of experience in the credit back office of a bank or financial services provider - preferably in corporate or correspondent banking business
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • confident use of common MS Office products
  • Analytical and results-orientated thinking
  • Careful, independent, autonomous and structured way of working
  • High level of commitment and team spirit
